28th Feb Free beer & pizza offer ? seeking 1) Photographer 2) Film Maker Band Quasimodo

I am inviting a photographer and a film maker to attend an event I have organised:

Basil Productions Presents their first music & visual arts events with Quasimodo & guests

This fresh young five piece band have star quality so when they make it big, you will have photographed and filmed something very special.

Incidentally I am NOT their manager just a big fan who invited them to organise the event at a local community cafe.

I reckon this band is on the cusp of something that could 'open doors.'

Michael Peacock: In all my 63 years of experiencing new music, never have I been so captivated. The first time I experienced these lads was on 1st Sep 2021 doing an open mic spot at nearby Skehans hosted by the excellent Scotty Watson. The hairs stood up on the back of my neck, Zach wearing a cap with harmonica, the penny then dropped, a young Bob Dylan but with more energy.

'We are not a Bob Dylan tribute band' Soon after I introduced myself to Zach & shared my reaction. So much so that I then invited Zach to host an evening of music at the nearby Hill Station Community Cafe, Kitto Rd, Lewisham, London SE14 5TW.

Quasimodo led by Zach this four piece are all friends and students at St Martins. These lads have raw stripped back talent and deserve a much wider audience, which includes BBC Radio 6 Introducing, Later With Jools Holland, Music Festivals, The Union Chapel, The O2 Brixton and last but not least Glastonbury.

Zach: 'We are a band based in Brockley that have recently formed under this name. Our music takes influence from a range of styles, including 1960-70s Folk, Rock, Roots and Funk as well as gypsy jazz. Jon is the lead guitarist, Tom is the drummer, George plays the bass, with myself fronting, writing and composing.'
