At the forum's birthday party we have to supply our own music, they have a setup that can play CDs and has an iPod lead so here's an invite to people in this here music room to bring along some tunes to play some background music. Here's your chance to impress each other with what you really have and not just your youtube references.

Oh, if no-one takes up this offer I'll locking the doors when the party's full and playing Brotherhood of Man, Angelo on a continuous loop.

I have some Mauritian music from my wedding reception, It's called Sega.

We can get a lock in with that playing and see who jumps from the window first. It's actually very nice music.

It's either that or Charles Aznavour, or Serge Gainsborough or....a whole album of James Bond theme tunes.

Pleased I could help out. Having been a funk DJ in a previous life I am also a music anorak and snob. However my Hoxwich tendencies now are towards super trendy and very annoying forms of music.

Hot: Daft Punk's very boring but pretty film, italo disco (still!), Kitsune, Simian, DFA (almost), Girls Aloud, M.A.N.D.Y.

Not hot: Bands, house, R&B, most other things.

I'll get my coat.

Posted this on the bank holiday thread aswell, but I really want people to see it. These guys played in the alternative tent at Reading, after all the other stages had shut up. I was with about 4 other mates at this stage, and to a man we were doubled over laughing! :)-D

The Babes in Toyland chatter is really taking me back

Now I'm online I can check some of the blind youtube postings I have made - ooops

This is the version I meant to play of The Man Who Sold The World - very, very different
