New parenting group for parents of 2-11 year olds

Parents of 2-11 year olds in Southwark, Lambeth, Croydon, Lewisham- Are you looking for support? Join our groups and meet other parents feeling similar to you.

Empowering Parents Empowering Communities' Being a Parent-Enjoying Family Life project is running again this April.

The project aims to improve support for parents & caregivers who are worried about their child?s behaviour and may:

? feel lonely and isolated

? get overwhelmed by their feelings

? struggle to switch off

? frequently lose their temper

? struggle to trust

Parenting groups will be run in person and online over 9-10 weeks and help give parents tools and strategies to improve child?s challenging behaviour. The next round of groups will start in April.

  Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.

  We hired Hanson &Co to handle painting, floor sanding and general renovation work before moving into our new home, and we were very happy with the results.   I have always taken mine to the main St Christopher's shop, in a bin bag clearly marked "Rags". They have always accepted them. Clean items only, obviously.
