Hi everyone,

Just a quick update to say I have some availability for new students, and am now offering in-person singing lessons at my home in New Cross Gate. For those who are more comfortable with zoom, I am still offering this as well.

I am can experienced jazz/soul singer and Musical Theatre actress. I studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (graduated 2019) and have 10+ years of professional performing experience, as well as 6 years of teaching experience.

My lessons are entirely tailored to your aspirations as a singer, and I coach various styles from Musical Theatre to pop, R&B, folk and jazz, with a strong emphasis on technique. Beginners totally welcome!

I charge ?40-60 per hour on a sliding scale.

  Many high streets have been taken over by charity shops. I can’t believe they’re paying full rent. I think landlords accept a low rent from a charity for a short term. Hopefully someone who actually knows will set me clear.

  I believe charity shops pay reduced business rates but the rent charged by a landlord is purely a commercial decision regardless of the type of tenants.

  If JoJo can't afford the increasing rent there (which was one of the reasons a staff member gave when I asked why they were closing), it's odd that a charity shop could - not doubting what you've been told, but it just doesn't make sense!
