Toldyouso
Does anybody have any idea who, of the Lordship Lane estate agents, offers the best fees at the moment? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/30346-estate-agent-fees-in-se22/ Share on other sites
Goose
In my limited experience it varies a lot and so you need to get a few quotes done. This is because it will also depend on how much they like your property and think they can sell it. If it will look good on the website they will probably go lower to try and get the business. If it is going to be difficult to sell they may want a higher percentage. When we sold a flat recently, we were quoted between 1.0%, 1.2% and 1.5% (+VAT). I got the feeling they could be bartered down if you particularly liked the estate agent. Mick Mac
If they say - "oh yes we should sell this easily" - tell them to either reduce their fee, or increase the price.
