Bic Basher
They've had problems for months down there due to staff shortages due to Covid and other staff leaving. It's not a surprise if they suddenly decide to close at 3pm because the stand-in pharmacist has to go and pick up their kids from school. The likes of Vale Pharmacy, Day Lewis at Tessa Jowell, Sogim and Sadler's haven't had the amount of issues Lloyds has had since last autumn. redjam
They seem to have been in a complete state for months - since well before Christmas. A few weeks ago, my very elderly neighbour told me she had to wait outside in the cold for over 30 minutes before someone came out and told the assembled queue that they were closing for lunch. She had to go home without her prescription. Really not great. DulwichFox
Having just come out of Hospital after total hip replacement, my GP sent a new Prescription to LLoyds Phamacy North Cross rd. My Physio walked me down there as part of my recovery to collect my medicine. They did not have what I needed at the time and said they would order it. I was Not able to go back on my own to collect it and they said they would deliver it to my house. Ulvescroft rd. 400 mtres. They charged me ?5.00 for that service.. Nigello
I don't like to add oil to the fire but yes, I avoid thsi place and have done for months. I just think it is poorly managed, though I do understand it is likely that Covid-19 has played its part. It is a pity because there never used to be this kind of problem even at the height of the pandemic and hardly ever before it. (It also has shutters that have been vandalised and not cleaned for years which makes it stick out like a sore thumb on the generally pleasant N X Road.) EDmummy
I sympathetically asked one of the staff (they haven?t caused the problem) why they were so short staffed. As with many other industries, she said that they were struggling to recruit trained staff. I work in another industry experiencing similar recruitment problems so completely understand. It?s getting very challenging Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/303119-lloyds-pharmacy-is-closed-today-7-february/#findComment-1564104 Share on other sites

Contact your surgery and tell them you want to change your nominated pharmacyDelivery orders are looked after by our expert team at the Boots Online Prescription Service: 30-36 Gallowtree Gate, Leicester LE1 1DD. To check who the responsible pharmacist was at the time your medicine was supplied, you can contact the Boots Pharmacy, Leicester, by phone on 0345 121 9040 between 11am and 4pm. singalto
Ihink Lloyd?s do a delivery service if you sign up to their scheme but I can?t see how they would deliver when the service in the shop is so bad. It?s getting very challengingThey also had a new dispensing software system installed at the latter half of last year. It's lead to issues where they've found it harder to retrieve patient prescriptions, so it's more than likely that they haven't been able to prepare prescriptions for collection, so when you actually turn up, you have to wait for them to dispense your meds. They remind you when you are running out of things, too.Highly recommended. It used to be called Echo, but now it's called Lloyds Direct.
