Thank you for the update sweetgirl. An appalling murder in our neighbourhood, barely noticed on the EDF. I think about Beatrice's daughter every time I walk past that flat.

I wouldn't read the lack of comment on EDF as meaning people didn't care.

To me if just felt inappropriate to be discussing online, it's not like there was any lack of clarity about the culprit or concern about risk to other people in the area so what was there to discuss?

I went into the French Cafe where she worked and donated to the collection they were doing for her family to help them look after her daughter and passed on my condolences to the staff, that seemed a more constructive reaction.

The fact that EDF users didn?t all bang on about the awful events probably indicate sensitivity to the issue, rather than not noticing.
