single mums and single dads - renting

I know this seems unusual but I have done it before and it works. I have lived in the past for 7 years with another single parent in a beautiful 5 bed house in ED with all the financial savings and support that comes with this arrangement. And it's great for the kids. I would love to do it again and am wondering if there are any like-minded people out there? I am mother to a fifteen year old and equally happy to share with a mum or dad. Anyway putting feelers out. There seems to be quite a few suitable 4/5 houses in the area for rent and it costs a lot less than a 2 bed flat...

Thanks!
