Hi there,

I am looking for parents to very briefly chat to for article I am writing on the truth about what we feed our children.

After the backlash against Gwyneth Paltrow feeding her kids a low-carb diet, and a survey by the Department of Health showing that mothers are feeding their babies by 100 calories too much per day, I'd like to talk to a selection of parents with kids between 0 and 12 to find out the kind of things they feed their children - the more surprising the better.

Are you quite relaxed about what you feed your children? Or do you take the hard line and only choose certain products? Do you spend a lot of money making sure they only eat the best quality food? Or do your kids have special requirements which means they are on unusual diets?

I'd love to hear from you if you have a strong opinion or if you have an unusual/super healthy/very relaxed approach to feeding your children.

If you're interested, please get in touch on [email protected].

Thanks very much,

Emily

Appreciate you are simply reporting this EmilyCP, not pushing it, but how on earth does the department of health get to us feeding our babies by 100 calories per day "too much ".

Love to see whatever passes for maths behind that statement.
