valeenitt
Hi ForumI am new to the area and wondering if there is a choir for 5+ children who enjoy singing. All I have found so far is groups that start at 7 years of age.thanks for your helpVal Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/30203-choir-for-a-5-year-old/ Share on other sites
east-of-the-Rye
hi Val, try Camberwell Choir School - it's not a choir or a school. It was originally set up with church funding and meets in St Giles Church Hall but is not a church organisation. My older one went as a toddler, then after a gap as a Junior & Senior and eventually as a helper. He's now playing in a college jazz band which wasn't entirely down to CCS but it certainly helped!http://www.camberwellchoirschool.org.uk/ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/30203-choir-for-a-5-year-old/#findComment-625989 Share on other sites

hoipolloi
Agree that CCS is great, my daughters went there for 2 years from the age of about 4-6. Now they are at Jasspa, a Saturday school based at JAPS that does classes in drama, dance and singing, they are in the junior choir which I think starts at age 6. It's fantastic.
