It's that time of year when up and down the country people get dressed up, drink cider and sing to the trees! Yes, around twelfth night it's time to Wassail the fruit trees in the hope that they give us a bountiful harvest later in the year.

Come and wassail the orchard in Dog Kennel Hill Open Space at 2pm on Sunday 16th January. We will have our very own Green Man to lead us. Bring cider or apple juice and something to bang or blow to make lots of noise.

There will be some jacket potatoes afterwards by the picnic benches. Wrap up warm!
