Are you a local (SME) small, medium or large enterprise / business either looking to recruit or thinking about recruiting an Apprentice? If so I'd really like to hear from you.

This week is National Apprenticeship Week. I am doing some brokerage work with a training provider who deliver Apprenticeships for young people aged 16 plus, and am looking for employers who want to take on an Apprentice.

The benefits of employing young people as Apprentices is that whilst they do their Apprenticeship, they learn and gain experience of working in your business, operating your organisations systems and procedures and in the longer term are prime candidates for future organisational succession planning.

Below I've listed Apprenticeships which may link to roles you are looking to fill with an Apprentice.

- Business and Administration Intermediate Apprenticeship

- Business and Administration Advanced Apprenticeship

- Cleaning and Support Services Intermediate Apprenticeship

- Cleaning and Environmental Services Intermediate Apprenticeship

- Customer Service Intermediate Apprenticeship

- Customer Service Advanced Apprenticeship

- Management Advanced Apprenticeship

- Facilities Management Advanced Apprenticeship

- Supprting Teaching and Learning in Schools Intermediate Apprenticeship

- Supprting Teaching and Learning in Schools Advanced Apprenticeship

- Health (Clinical Healthcare Support) Intermediate Apprenticeship

- Health (Maternity and Paediatric Support) Advanced Apprenticeship

- IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professional (ICT Systems and Principles) Intermediate Apprenticeship

- Health and Social Care Advanced Apprenticeship

- Health and Social Care Advanced Apprenticeship

- Children and Young Peoples Workforce (Pathway 1 - Early Learning and Childcare) Advanced Apprenticeship

I look forward to hearing from you, should you have any questions or queries please free to contact me.

    • The good news is that the Blythe's new leaseholder is Austin Whelan, who runs a chain of very decent Irish pubs, mainly in south London. By all accounts, he has no intention of making any major changes. It reopened last week.
    • A builder said that to me once! What I should have said (but thought of it too late) was that given that I was paying him to do a job, I expected that my glass would be full, not half full 🤣 But yes, you are right in this instance!
    • Just had a flyer through the door. Posting here for people who haven't had theirs yet. The 50% off food is for three days only, and advance bookings only. I liked the EDT as it used to be, so I really hope the changes won't be too massive. Last time I looked through the window the bar seemed to be still in the same place, but who knows. Think I'll wait a bit to try the food. When The Lordship launched, we went for a meal there and let's say things didn't go smoothly 😂 Anybody who was there will know what I mean 😂 They have redeemed themselves since, I hasten to add 😂
