...thanks to everybody that recommended Graham Norris..former kitchen fitter turned loft ladder supremo..a whirl wind of activity and hey presto a loft door and drop down ladder...originally was thinking off increasing hatch size and having a drop down wooden ladder...talked it through and decided for a variety of reasons to be more realistic..Graham then fitted it there and then...reasonable price and if you are lucky he will show you his magic coin trick...all in all a good experience with a professional that knew his business after 17 years of creating openings....

  The good news is that the Blythe's new leaseholder is Austin Whelan, who runs a chain of very decent Irish pubs, mainly in south London. By all accounts, he has no intention of making any major changes. It reopened last week.

  A builder said that to me once! What I should have said (but thought of it too late) was that given that I was paying him to do a job, I expected that my glass would be full, not half full 🤣 But yes, you are right in this instance!

  Just had a flyer through the door. Posting here for people who haven't had theirs yet. The 50% off food is for three days only, and advance bookings only. I liked the EDT as it used to be, so I really hope the changes won't be too massive. Last time I looked through the window the bar seemed to be still in the same place, but who knows. Think I'll wait a bit to try the food. When The Lordship launched, we went for a meal there and let's say things didn't go smoothly 😂 Anybody who was there will know what I mean 😂 They have redeemed themselves since, I hasten to add 😂
