ECG at King's - waiting times

Hello,

Has anyone had recent experience of going for an ECG at King's? Does it take ages? Is it best to go at a particular time of day?

We had one for our baby girl there - waiting time was about 45 minutes. There's a big waiting room with about 40 people when we went there at around 4pm but they seem to chug through it pretty quickly. The ECG itself took about 20 minutes

Hardly had any wait at all when I went - which was late morning as I recall. It only takes about 2 mins so they do rattle through them.

I went last week, waited about tens minutes and took about the same time to do the test but that includes removing your bra etc if you are female .

Do you have to be referred or can you just go?

I've had an ECG done at Kings. 5-10 min wait.

GP has to issue an ECG form and it was a 15 minute wait on a Thursday morning. There are several technicians doing them and they send you away with the results and you take it back to the GP
