Thanks, I will definitely look out for those :-)

hey

Im currently trying to get more cafes to stock dairy egg and gluten free cakes in ED.

Drop me an email on [email protected] if you are interested in the results, I look forward to when every cafe has something that coeliacs and vegans can eat!!

Franklins on Lordship Lane sell products from the WAG Bakery, not exactly a cafe (they have some tables and chairs outside) but defintely worth popping into to pick up one of the delicious chocolate tarts! I am not sure if the products are vegan though...

I would highly recommend visiting the actual bakery in Brixton Market if you are in the area (http://www.wagfreefood.com/). They sell an amazing range of wheat and gluten free food including all kinds of cakes and pastries, pies and even fish and chips!

Thanks, I'll bear that in mind. Am not vegan, just dairy and gluten intolerant.

Hiya- we do occasionally have gluten free cakes but we're getting more and more requests for them so I'm thinking we should have one on all the time. We have a granola bar on at the moment which has no wheat in it if that helps. Depends if you can eat oats. It has a small amount of yoghurt icing on it (dairy) and contains butter. We also have coconut macaroons which are wheat free and always fruit yo-yos (delicious fresh fruit leather). If you ask us, we have lactose free milk in the fridge and can fix you up a banging soya hot choccy whenever you like.

I'll make sure there is a gluten/fairy free option on more often! Please do introduce yourself to us and feel free to bring in recipes or tell us what you like :)

Thanks for the replies. Seems there are lots of gluten free cakes around but not many dairy free! Unfortunately dairy is the one that seems to cause the worse problems.

Thanks Homemade for the offer of more gluten and dairy free options, very kind.
