From my limited take some hard line anti vaxers don't need a lot of excuses, they've had a go at Gove because he is (allegedly) a sociopath, RM because he is a toff stuck in another age (it's not good that they targeted his kid, but please don't make him a mini me) and Starmer, because, umm, he's a bit wet.

Jo Cox was 'called names' before she was stabbed to death.

There's a big difference between name calling, say on an online forum like this, or even shouting something from a passing car, than the organised and concerted harassment, abuse, and personal insults we saw aimed at Starmer, which also included someone carrying a noose.

I'm sorry, but none of that is acceptable in a civilised society, where everyone, including MPs, has the right to walk down a public street without fear of such harassment. By all means protest but do it peacefully and without intimidation and harassment.

Goodness knows what would've happened if the police hadn't been there.

And all that apologists for such behaviour like you can do, is question whether it was a 'mob' or not. As Jo Cox found out, it only takes one 'nutter'.

I don't know if it's the same grifters, but one of the main ringleaders during the pro-Brexit/Trump crowd that harassed MPs like Anna Soubry, was banned for a while, but that must've been about 3-4 years ago so presume they have been free to return for sometime...
