Anyone know anything about fridges?

Am hoping a kind person can tell me whether or not to dump my fridge! It's a Samsung American fridge freezer, about 5 years old and it's started making a loud rumbling noise, sounds like an aeroplane ready to take off but stops immediately when you open the door. Is it something worth fixing or is it time to buy a new fridge?

Any advice would be most appreciated.

No worries sorry was a bit concise. If Samsung aren't helpful there are some good domestic appliance repair folk on here who could probably fix it - if, as suggested, it's a 10 minute fix, it shouldn't cost too much.

Good luck it certainly isn't beyond repair...friend had it done an no problems since...
