techie question - printing from Macbook to Epson printer

Hello - I now have a MacBook Air but have no idea how to 'install' my printer into it. I have a couple of years old Epson Stylus SX405. When I had my PC I put a disc in to the laptop and it installed the printer but you can't put a disc in my Mac so do I need to buy a new printer? Any advice gratefully received. thanks so much.

You could use a remote CD drive and hook it up to your Mac, or if you don't have one, download the relevant Mac compatible software from the Epson site directly onto your Mac, and then install it...
