sazzle
I went a few years ago when there were only about 10,000 people attending. it was a great little festival with loads of families. There was only one stage and people were sat down all day listening to the bands so it was really chilled out. I gather it has got quite a bit bigger... It might be worth staying in a hotel, there are quite a few on the island, the local buses run regularly a short walk from the venue. Hope you have fun. Steph
I don't intend to be heading into the mosh pitt with him so while I am going to get some protection for his ears anyway he won't be anywhere near the speakers. Can't say I have ever noticed that on TV or while at festivals but there you go...citizenEd thanks for the tip, I was thinking vodka Jellies actually? giggirl
Toddlers at festivals anoy me; they NEVER buy a round. Whenever it's their shout they just hide behind that 'my nappy's a bit full' excuse.
