Police cordons outside The Palmerston

It looked like there was blood on the pavement outside the Palmerston as I drove past just now- lots of police there and they have cordoned the area off

Does anyone know what happened?

I witnessed a fight involving three people outside The Palmerston so I called the police, who arrived within 10 mins. It wasn't a stabbing. The victim was punched in the face a few times and went to hospital. Hope he's okay now.
