mac files retrieval

Hi,

I've got a knackered ibook which is not worth repairing but i would like to get my files from it. I think the mother board is the problem with the machine but I presume files can still be copied from the hard drive onto an external drive?

Recommendations and idea of cost please.

Hi, i can recover the data off the harddrive for ?55.00 providing the harddrive is still ok.

Jo and Ollie at system ten are local mac support and repair experts, they have several recommendations on here, I used them recently for data recovery and they were very efficient and good value for money.
