Looking for Nanny Share from January (or later) in SE22(/SE21)

UPDATE: We're now looking either for an existing Nanny share we can join, or a family to share with (we can then find a nanny together). This is the rough "catchment" area that'd work.

For ourselves, we're ideally looking for three days a week: 8 am-9 am (drop-off at Heber School) and 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm (pick-up at Heber School), preferably Tuesday to Thursday, but we can be quite

The other family we share with is moving away, so we're looking for a new family to nanny share with from January 2022 (although there could be some flexibility).

We've got twin four-year-old girls at Heber School nursery who need dropping off at 9 am and picking up at 3:30 pm during term time.

Location-wise we're near the junction of Lordship Lane and Crystal Palace Road, so the share could work with families living in SE22, bits of SE21, and possibly the Southern bits of Peckham.

Please do get in touch, even if you're not quite sure of what you need just yet.

Hi

Our nanny share is coming to an end at the end of Feb and we would be looking for a new arrangement. Our son is two in Jan so is a little younger.

I?m not sure whether we are too far away as we are in Turney road in west dulwich.

Nasmin

Hi Nasmin - thanks so much for getting in touch.

It depends on how far down Turney - if you live this side of the junction with Burbage I'd have thought that'd work.

Here's a map of what's walkable within 20 minutes, which I reckon would probably be the rough boundary for who we'd be able to share with:

By way of an update, unfortunately our Nanny has handed in her notice as we couldn't find a new share in time, which means we're now looking for a new nanny AND a new family.

We're considering all options right now (including after school clubs, childminders etc.), but this probably means we can be a little more flexible about start dates. January would be ideal, but if it had to be February or March we might be able to make that work.

    • The guide is being delivered to every household, I believe, mine arrived only today. I think it's basically no change. But they are not requiring people to use compostible bags for kitchen rubbish, presumably not to impose costs on people, but you still can, and the black sack for dry non recyclables I imagine is for those without green bins. Hopefully foxes won't be interested, although they can contain baby and pet waste. I imagine if there was a change they'd make more of it. But kitchen and garden waste are now being collected separately, even though Veolia doesn't have the plant locally to us to process them separately. So it's just for show (by Southwark, not Veolia as it just adds cost to them). Veolia does have anaerobic digesters to process kitchen waste into fuel at some of their UK sites. But I think for London it's all just composted.

    • Hey - I can see that you're selling a lot of items - the preferred rule here is to put them all on one post rather than individual ones. From Forum Rules section: "If you have a big list of similar items to sell at once (e.g. a garage sale) then please put them all in one thread. Do not create more than 3 topics per day per account."
