Public Works - NorthCross Road.

Hi,

Has anybody noticed any workmen actually turning up and working on the abandoned holes in Northcross Road. They start at the junction with Lordship Lane (the first hole is dangerous - outside a pub)and go the length of the road.

I might try and get a job like that, dig a hole and disapear for a week until its payday!

I agree!

I have not seen them do anything!

Also, they must leave nails etc, etc, lying about as 4 people in my offer have got punctures on North Cross Road.

Is it coming up to spending review/budget time again? If so it's probably a case of starting the work so that it counts towards this year's total, on which the funding allocation for next year is based.
