GONE Free solid wood writing letterbox - restoration reupholstery/carpentry job

Here I have what used to be a lovely solid wood box with various compartments inside and an in-laid small brass plaque on the top (probably meant for initials to be engraved). Solid wood with beautiful grain, no wood worms! Hinges will need replacing.

It has seen better days, but I thought someone out there might enjoy restoring it to its original beauty.

Free to a good home.

Size about an A4, height about 10cm.
