fergju
Hi allI am looking for some advise ... My twin girls are 15 months old and we are looking for daycare in the Peckham rye east dulwich area. We are really struggling to find anything as the waiting lists are monstrous for 1 but for 2 it's painful. Some lists we have been on for over a year. Does anyone know of a nursery with poss availability or newly opening? Thanks in advance Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/29783-nursery-suggestions/ Share on other sites

etta166
I'm not sure if this holds true in Nunhead, but to the North Dulwich side of East Dulwich I found that a nanny was more cost effective for 2 under 3s than 2 nursery places. Have you looked into that? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/29783-nursery-suggestions/#findComment-622000 Share on other sites
Suzanne Cummings
You could try Oak Tree on Tell Grove (off Melbourne Grove). It's a lovely nursery & still has spaces. LuckyOne
I also would like to ask about this. We soon will move here (we hope to move to West Dulwich probably) and have so far looked at Dulwich Day Nursery. It has places so could any body tell about their experiences with it? Or reommend any other with places in this area? Or should we just get this while it has places!? Thank you so much! I live in that road so it would be great for me but u can't find anything in the Internet and there are no signs in the buildings surrounding that junction. Thanks Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/29783-nursery-suggestions/#findComment-623237 Share on other sites
Strawbs
My son is very happily at 'my favourite nursery' on the corner of upland and barry road, I understand they have a long waiting list but you could always give them a call. rougepamplemousse
My daughter went to My Fav Nursery, we only left because of personal circumstances. We gave 1 month notice but knowing it was a long waiting list we asked if we could leave right away and the admin lady said no. The key workers are amazing and my daughter loved every single one of them but the admin staff is terrible and their level of common sense is non existent!
