Recommended Packing/Removals Service - Janusz J.T. Enterprises

We recently moved locally and were very happy with Jan and his team from Janusz J.T. Enterprises. We were extremely busy with work at the time our move came up and also have two very young children. Jan and his team made our move as painless as possible and we found their quote very fair. They packed our entire 4 bed house (with LOTS of stuff) moved it to our new house a mile up the road, and put the boxes in the right rooms in our new house. Not a single thing was dented or broken in any way.

In our previous moved we used a much bigger-name company and Jan's team were much better, more efficient, and more reliable, and also better value.

Alieh - thank you very much for your recommendation, we needed a mover at late notice and I saw your recommendation (and remembered you from Hummy mummies?!) and they were ace and a great find. Here's what I've just posted on the other thread about JT Enterprises:

-----

We just used Janusz and his fantastic team for our move from SE15 to SE23. He was great from the word go and worth every penny. Not only did they pack and move perfectly, they are courteous, funny, efficient and have bucket loads of initiative, mending broken drawers, explaining better ways of doing things and showing great experience and understanding of the moving process. Jan was very flexible with us given we had to pack late in the day before exchange (which didn't happen when it was supposed) and then moved us when we exchanged and completed simultaneously. It was an extremely stressful chain/move and I can honestly say their presence made the practical side of things much less stressful and actually made us calmer - even when rushing to clear out our place on time and waiting for the new place to be vacated (the previous owner left at 6pm!!).

In addition, the next day we used Jan and his colleague Anthony's handyman services in our wreck of a new house and again they were faultless - they fixed light fittings, installed child gates, sourced and hung temporary curtains and lots more. They are local gems and would recommend them to anyone. We are going to use them as much as we can in future! Also as a team they are extremely tolerant of toddlers/babies and very family friendly.

    • All good to hear. Cheers BNG If I’m honest, those fliers give off very bland corporate energy   also. Shouldn’t it be a relaunch party instead of a launch party?    hopefully I’m wrong and it’s great
    • The good news is that the Blythe's new leaseholder is Austin Whelan, who runs a chain of very decent Irish pubs, mainly in south London. By all accounts, he has no intention of making any major changes. It reopened last week.
    • A builder said that to me once! What I should have said (but thought of it too late) was that given that I was paying him to do a job, I expected that my glass would be full, not half full 🤣 But yes, you are right in this instance!
    • Just had a flyer through the door. Posting here for people who haven't had theirs yet. The 50% off food is for three days only, and advance bookings only. I liked the EDT as it used to be, so I really hope the changes won't be too massive. Last time I looked through the window the bar seemed to be still in the same place, but who knows. Think I'll wait a bit to try the food. When The Lordship launched, we went for a meal there and let's say things didn't go smoothly 😂 Anybody who was there will know what I mean 😂 They have redeemed themselves since, I hasten to add 😂
