Hello,

I bought a lascal buggy board from this forum but never used it because we've ended up with a yoyo zen instead. So I'm selling it on. Have copied and pasted the original posting below so you have the description. Selling this for 25, same price that I paid for it. I'm in Peckham.

Also, selling a bjorn carrier for 20. Barely used, as good as new.

Happy to whatsapp pics if you send me your number.

Thanks

"For sale ? Lascal Maxi buggy board.

These are great, robust buggy boards - our first had several hundred miles on the clock before it eventually had to be retired. This is its replacement, comparatively lightly used and still in excellent condition.

Comes with manual, all fittings/attachments including various spares (most as new, as we attached the new board with the old board?s fittings).

?25, collection from SE22."

    • Yep, the bit of road around the junction of Lordship Lane and Heber fails and is redone every few months. They've just finished the latest repairs a week or two ago and you can already see the cracks appearing. It'll be getting dug up again in a month or two.
    • To be fair, the holes had mostly been filled yesterday and it looks as though they will be resurfacing today. It’s less than 2 years since there were repairs at the same place, hopefully this time it will last longer!
    • The message on the barrier says:” to be completed by 03/02/25 ! There are no workers there at all! I pass this section of the road on daily basis! Just the barriers and the hole 🕳️ in the road! It’s a joke and not even funny at all!
    • The problem is that Thames does replace whole sections of pipe, for instance outside the Horniman, which took several months, but which fails about every 18 months needing more repairs. They replaced sections around Underhill which failed almost immediately and the original work and repairs also took out the gas supply! Their work quality is incredibly shoddy, and they don't care. And their regulator is a joke. They are the worst sort of grasping monopolists, owned by overseas capitalists with no moral investment or relationship with the country in which they operate. Without a tough regulator with real powers and teeth they are uncontrolled foxes in our hencoop. Privatisation can work, look at Telecoms, but this absolutely hasn't.
