Thai-vedic massage
Tried Tai Chi but found it too complicated?Qi Gong is SO much easier: you just follow the teacher. Involving simple stretches, deep breathing and guided meditation you get all the 'mindfulness in motion' benefits of Tai Chi without having to learn a complicated sequence of movements.I've started weekly Qi Gong classes at:The Green Community Centre, Nunhead (next to the Old Nun?s Head pub), 5 Nunhead Green, SE15 3QQ.7.30-8.30pm on Tuesday evenings. Only ?5 per class.Suitable for adults of all ages and genders. LGBT friendly. One of the aims of Qi Gong is to cultivate a sense of connection and community. If there is enough interest we can go for a drink in the nextdoor pub after the class. If you would like to join us, or if you have questions please message or email me (contact details below)Stephen fromThai-Vedic Massagehttps://www.thai-vedicmassage.co.uk07950933150[email protected] Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/296448-drop-in-qi-gong-classes-tuesdays-730-830-the-green-community-centre-nunhead/ Share on other sites
tersiered
I have been along to Stephen?s Qi Gong classes a couple of times and am hooked. It?s a wonderful simple balance of breathing, movement into different poses which stretches out your whole body and helps move energy around and relax your mind. At the end of the session a lovely silent meditation lying down at the end, which Stephen?s guides us through, which is really relaxing for body mind and soul. Didn?t want to open my eyes last night as so relaxed. Highly recommend for everyone and all ages. Thanks Stephen!
