My young Spanish firend is looking for casual employment at reasonable rates in the local area.

He will consider gardening, light household duties, pet sitting etc. He's a decent cook with lots of common sense and is looking to practice his English! He could be a companion to an elderly relative or young children, he could tidy your garden or attic for a fair hourly wage.

He's really here to learn English so will consider anything reasonable and I am happy to provide references for this lovely young man who is a family friend!

  The VAT increase will only make private education more exclusive - many dual-income families who prioritise their children's education over material possessions will either struggle or to move them to state schools thus taking some school places. What a poor decision by this government.

  If there was a safeguarding failure of the magnitude you’re describing then it should have been referred to Ofsted. There may well be an investigation and/or subsequent inspection triggered by this. Schools are required to publicise no-notice inspections on their websites so you may not have long to wait to find out if this is the case.
