Just read that Sainsbury's are looking to recruit Christmas seasonal staff, should be worth contacting them directly about local possibilities... https://news.sky.com/story/sainsburys-launches-drive-to-recruit-22-000-temporary-staff-for-christmas-period-12422695

Online deliveries is one of the few sectors that 'did well' during the pandemic so that might be a worthwhile avenue to explore more fully...

ETA: Royal Mail is another company that recruits Christmas seasonal workers...

As RD said, online deliveries. Over the last few months I've had deliveries via my Amazon Prime membership from Morrison's in Peckham. All from people who have a car. I don't know what they pay but most of them had what I considered to be very nice cars (I'm no expert) and often from ladies who looked liked they were dressed to go to church. I only say this as I was surprised they needed the income.

If you have any interest (or experience) in hospitality, send me a message. I currently work for a small agency and I believe they are always looking for new 'candidates'. There's a shortage. There's undoubtedly work for you out there. Just a case of getting something that suits you.
