Just avoided being overcharged in Superdrug, Peckham. Half price price on the shelves, but not half price at the till. If I'd been buying loads of things I might not have noticed -
I would question ‘affordable’. Fit For is £115 per month for the standard (cheapest) membership. for comparison, the leisure centre on CPRoad is £44 per month (£37 for concessions) and JAGs sports club is £60 per month, they also have various concession or family membership offers -
I would never leave my dog tied up outside a shop nowadays. A large proportion of ‘dogs stolen’ notices feature dogs nicked from outside shops- fancy dogs, old dogs, mongrels , all sorts. Stolen on a whim, for mischief, for profit or as a bait dog to train fighters. A thief might abandon them shortly afterwards, but the heartbreak and confusion is already done and a reunion not guaranteed.
