Alexthecamel
Is there such a thing as low gas pressure and if so has anyone else got it? Meal that should have taken half hour still uncooked after an hour. Happy to be told it?s just my cooking! Hoi Polloi
I remember when I used to boil a litre of milk, it would boil over within five minutes or so. Nowadays, it barely comes to a gentle simmer after ten minutes and never boils over.I don?t know why. though. Penguin68
If you believe your gas pressure is unduly low you should report this to BG - and pretty quickly. It is possible that your supply pipe has become compromised and may be leaking - or may have become partially blocked through gas works further up the supply line. Unless BG confirm pressures are generally low in your area then you may have a problem, and gas isn't something you want to have a problem with! Garveyplumbing
Hi thereThis will usually be due to the regulator on your gas meter Call your supplier to have your meter checked If not then it will likely be the hob/cooker itself that?s the issue Hope this helps Lee Green plumbers Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/294612-gas-pressure/#findComment-1551482 Share on other sites
