Debbie08
Hi, looking for some advice. I have tried to google this but haven't come up with anything helpful. My son is starting secondary school next year (sept 2022). We are in the process of buying a house which hopefully will be in the catchment area for the Dulwich Charter school which is one of our preferred schools. However the house buying process has been hit with the inevitable delays and problems and it is now questionable whether we will have exchanged by the school application deadline of 31 October. I understand when you submit the school application form you have to put your current address down but what happens if we do manage to complete on our new house a few weeks after the deadline ? can the application be amended with our new address? Thank you! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/294233-secondary-school-application-change-of-address/ Share on other sites
Renata Hamvas
Let Southwark know as soon as possible. The impact on your allocation would depend on how soon after the deadline your address changes and at what stage in the place allocation process Southwark is at. You would need to contact [email protected] when you move.Renata Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/294233-secondary-school-application-change-of-address/#findComment-1537993 Share on other sites
