Heating not going on for the foreseeable - gas / electricity price rises or not. The outside temperature seems set for a minimum of 10? for at least a week. That's t-shirt weather.

I'm surprised that following the PMs coup in reverting to imperial units we can't pretend that Fahrenheit is centigrade - so I understand that temperatures will be up to 65 degrees tomorrow, hotter than Death Valley...

  Just a note of caution for you Nigello - trees planted too close to houses can cause terrible problems with subsidence.
