Nothing yet from DMC, weeks after some people at other surgeries have got their jabs. Walk ins at bigger branches of Boots and Sainsbury's, etc. may be an option or the Day Lewis on F H Road, where I saw three other people get theirs as walk ins when I was there.
Be careful to steer clear of Lloyd?s Pharmacy. I made an appointment at Northcross Rd branch to have the flu jab only to have them send me an email a week later thanking me for letting them know I had cancelled. I hadn?t! Fearing some sort of data breach I went in to find out what was going on. The pharmacist told me she had cancelled due to there being no trained pharmacist available to do the vaccination. She said I had to go back and book again online. I said I thought that was an unprofessional and shoddy way to treat customers. Foolishly I made another appointment at the branch in Sainsbury?s DKH, had it confirmed and heard nothing more. However, when I turned up at the appointed time, I was told that they weren?t doing the flu jabs and that I was the third person who had come expecting to have it. They are still advertising the service but I?d say, if you want the flu jab, they are the ones to avoid. All in all a shambolic and completely unprofessional attitude by Lloyds Online. I have complained and await a reply, however, I won?t hold my breath.

" Forest Hill Group practice were offering next day appointments to patients on their text list. Good service. "

All well and good, but the text message says you can book online. Neither the practice website nor Patient Access has any flu jab ordering system - you have to phone or visit Fort Knox in person.

I'm having mine at The Gardens tomorrow.

I may see your hubby there, Pugwash!

Judging by the weird time of mine, it seems they must be doing them at two minute intervals.

I asked for a later appointment and was told they were allocating them in the order people phoned for the appointment (so it's up at crack of dawn for me 😶)

    • Hello My husband bought and sold CDs but is no longer trading. I auctioned off all his collection of records and CDs 2/3 years ago. He had a lot of new CD jewel cases and trays which I’ve been trying to sell off cheaply on this forum… Unsuccessful! I just want them gone now as I was asked by  a shop to count them up and they are cluttering up the hallway. I’ve just had cataract surgery and not advised to lift stuff… I have: 200 CD clear cases with black trays 30 orange CD cases with orange trays  75 black double CD cases with black trays  240 CD clear cases 650 black CD trays  65 clear CD trays Also 3/4 boxes of new DVD cases,  Let me know if you’d like to collect any of the above free. You can give a donation to cancer charity if you like!  kind regards  Eleanor

    • I agree that I enjoy seeing the variety of wild flowers growing naturally in the streets and would much prefer that they were not destroyed. (The South London Botanical Institute actually conduct wildflower identification walks on street wild flowers.) However, as the council consider themselves to be responsible for removing these plants, it's better that they now dig them out rather than spraying them with toxic herbicide, as they used to do - a step in the right direction.
