Hello EDF, I would highly recommend Sylvain Jullien & his team from JULLIEN LANDSCAPING for any and all of your garden landscaping needs, now including his BRILLIANT work on GARDEN ROOMS / HOME OFFICES

I have used Sylvain to redesign and refurbish our Front & Back Gardens in Peckham (inc clearance, fencing, astro, building walls, laying slaps, decorative tiling) and more recently to build a Garden Room at my holiday let in Oxfordshire. Sylvain and his team (including myself), followed a custom design of a 5 x 3m timber construction that included a bedroom / office, and a wet room. They did an incredible job, real attention to detail and craftsmanship, clearly proud of the work they produce and a desire to work with you to achieve the best results. This included recommendation on using Ground Screws (less invasive than concrete footings, and ideal for terrace house in London! - easy to access the garden), supply of electrics, plastering, bespoke cladding design, building a terrace (we call it the Sun Downer Terrace! etc.

The quality of craftsmanship and attention to detail through the whole build process means the end product is far superior to anything supplied by pre fabricated suppliers and the larger firms in this market. If you want something personal to you and your garden this is the way to go.

I couldn't be happier with the end result - have a look at the photos.

    • Sorry Malumbu, but to say that Pakistani men are being 'demonised' is disgraceful. The men in the rape gangs were predominantly from Pakistan - that is a fact.  To suggest pointing this out is victimisation totally undermines the horror that the predominantly white young girls suffered at their hands. The men exploited this, using their nationality as a shield, and told their victims they wouldn't be believed. And they were right - some of he brave people who did call it out lost their jobs.  To deny there is a strong cultural element to this, so as to protect your fear of being seen as anything other than liberal and progressive, is disingenuous at the very least. And to suggest that calling it out is far right is insane, I'm sure plenty women and girls of Pakistani heritage would agree.  That Jenrick and Badenoch have picked this up and used it as a political football is a really disappointing start to the year, though at least today's debate in PMQs was respectful in its tone. But for the victims to have this glibly brought up and used to bait the other side just goes to show how little some of the protagonists really care about them.
    • They like the warmth of roads and pavements, they are quite common on car parks and school playgrounds.
    • Just up from the co-op, going towards Goose Green, a wagtail bird was flitting about on the pavement. It wasn’t worried about people walking along and then another one joined it and both flew over to a cake shop pecking at crumbs.  Never seen one before and was nice to observe.
