Kellie777
Whilst I'd been away neighbours cats slipped in bedroom window and have used the bed as a toilet (yuk!) I'd throw the duvet but it's an expensive Sweedish allergy chemical free duvet I saved up for and cost me ?200. Fortunately it can be washed at 60degrees. Any recommendations on a launderette where I can wash and dry it. (Going to soak it in vinegar and bicarbonate prior to taking it there). Are there any lauderettes which specialise in people using eco non chemical laundry products, perhaps? Will a need a pile of 20p's still lol was the 90's when I used to use a launderette (thankfully) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/293197-launderettelaundry-recommendations-for-duvet/ Share on other sites
beansprout
I have used wash and go - corner of Lordship Lane and Pellatt Rd. There is a cat there! The lady does it for you if you need. Not sure about eco non chemical but very helpful. oliviaandmilo
You could take your own powder/tablets, I'm sure that's helpful to them too! Adidas_guy
The size of the drum could be your biggest issue. It your duvet is squashed into a machine, not enough clean water will circulate to remove all traces of detergents etc. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/293197-launderettelaundry-recommendations-for-duvet/#findComment-1534642 Share on other sites
