Marmora Man
As ever - I'm seeking EDF advice on IT matters - I know someone will have the answer.Whenever I click a link in an e-mail my system default gives me Google Chrome rather than my preferred Safari or Firefox. How can I disable GC or enable Safari / Firefox as the default setting?ThanksMM Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/29303-google-chrome-how-to-disable/ Share on other sites

DulwichFox
Follow El Pibe's link to make Firefox your default browser. If you want to completely remove 'Uninstall' Google Chrome follow this link.. http://support.google.com/chrome/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=111899 You will need to be a little bit 'Techy' Else just leave Google Chrome installed. red devil
If you use Windows, try going to 'Control Panel', then 'Default Programs', then 'Set Default Programs'...Google Chrome should appear in a list, click on it and then click on 'Choose defaults for this program', you can then check/uncheck the extensions you want Google Chrome to open by default...
