recommendation needed for door camera

hello. we would like to get an outdoor camera for our front door due to lots of robberies in the area. can anyone recommend a good product. I would prefer one wired in but I am keen to learn more.

Ring cameras are easy to hardwire install if you've got a traditional doorbell handy already (although I had to change my transformer, which was no more complicated than changing a fuse) BUT you have to pay a monthly subscription for online video storage and if the network is slow, it'll take a few seconds before the app on your phone shows there is someone at the door. (The doorbell will still dingdong using your old chime though).

Ring's fine, and you can add more cameras to the platform. Handy to speak to delivery drivers while out.
