Any local shops that sell bridesmaid dresses?

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone knows of any local (ish) shops that sell bridesmaid dresses that are not too expensive. I am going to be a bridesmaid for a wedding very soon and we have been trying to find dresses with no luck so far. Alot of shops have 16 weeks turn around etc which will not work for us.

We have been looking online and really feel like we need to try dresses on together in a shop that has stock we can buy on the day.

Any idea if there are any shops like this around?

Try the charity shops. there are a couple in Forest Hill who have had dresses in the past.

BHS when they were around sold bridesmaid dresses - some of the bigger M & S stores may have something suitable

Try Fonthill Road Finsbury park, all off the peg.

Pugwash - it seems alot of the shops that did bridesmaids dresses have closed like BHS and debenhams

Walworth Rd, has a bridal shop and a few doors along on the same side have that sort of thing although I've never been inside, East street may have something in their little shops down there!
