Hello,

We are The Flora Lab; specialists in hand poured, natural-wax candles. You might have seen us on North Cross Road market (and if not, please pop along next time and say hello)

I just wanted to let we are now open for local deliveries... for ?2, we will deliver candles to your door if you're in East Dulwich (or surroundings areas). As well as candles, we have lots of other little pieces of loveliness, as well as gift boxes, chocolates and soaps.

All candles are made with sustainable natural, plant based waxes (coconut, rapeseed & soy are on a constant rotation in our studio), and all packaging is plastic free. We have some beautiful scents that just a little bit special

  I see their website has it as https://www.royalmail.com/services-near-you/delivery-office/peckham-and-east-dulwich-delivery-office-se15-5au, though I wouldn't be at all surprised if they're also distinct administrative or operational entities for some purposes. I note, for example, that Peckham (SE15) isn't on the list.

  A reminder of the current situation. Covid-19 Eligibility: https://www.nhs.uk/vaccinations/covid-19-vaccine/ Availability: NHS are no longer running their own appointment-making system. This winter's version is still available from pharmacies until 31 January. They may have individual availability times, see: https://www.nhs.uk/service-search/pharmacy/find-a-pharmacy-offering-walk-in-COVID-19-vaccination-services Flu Flu vaccinations (65+, pregnant, higher risk, or private) are available from some pharmacies. See https://www.nhs.uk/service-search/pharmacy/find-a-pharmacy-that-offers-free-flu-vaccination for details of eligibility and a link to a pharmacy finder. Some may offer appointments: you may have to dig down into their individual listing. RSV Currently eligible/recommended: If pregnant (at 28+ weeks), or age 75-79, or became 80 on or after 1 Sept 2024. This has been available from GP practices. I was offered one by text.   I get that they're being pollarded. This estate was built in the 60's and so I'm guessing that they're around 60 years old. Nothing wrong with that but even when they re-grow they're hardly going to be the most attractive. Y'know just musing on improving the look of our public spaces.

  Pretty repetitive on the transport section. I like a good discussion and this does raise wider issues. I miss banks more than post office branches which tend to be part of other stores. A few other threads on the Lounge, come on over. Or 🐕 💩
