Shoutout for Really Maria - sewing and craft shop

This has become my go to shop if I need something sewing related. I don?t sew often but every time I?ve been in staff have been friendly and helpful. They?re not out to sell you the most expensive thing and I?ve come away with what I needed.

Also the most comfortable face mask of all those we tried - I find the ones with elastic round the back of the head work better with glasses and are more comfortable to wear for five hours. There is also a great choice of designs.

  Went there a couple of weeks ago and had their set lunch menu - very good value and generous portions. Sea bream was delicious .

  Some years ago, one of our dogs ate something dropped by rubbish bins outside a local café and haemorrhaged. Rushed to emergency vet in Streatham, who suggested that someone, worried about rats getting into rubbish bins may have put down poison. Our dog died the next day. Consequently, any dog we had afterwards wore a muzzle to stop them picking up food.

  I don't put anything in my food waste bin, the veg all goes into the compost, and the rest feeds as animals. Not a lot of the latter as not bothered by foxes, hedgehogs and badgers but don't want the encourage two of them I hope to get a community award. Please nominate me. If I had neighbours who didn't do this I would name and shame on the socials.
