Trapani
Anyone know what happened to the lovely swans in Brockwell Park? Used to love feeding them at times, and have witnessed two generations in this lockdown period. Now they seem to have disappeared!Appreciate info.Giorgio Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/291449-brockwell-park-swans/ Share on other sites
cactus
Two adults and three cygnets were around at the start of August, although I haven't been over there recently. There's a Facebook page called Brockwell Tranquility, usually lots of photos and updates there re the swans and other wildlife. Trapani
Great! I don't do Face book, but can ask a friend to look it up. Hope we will again see a new family in the ponds. Trapani
Great.. must go see them, and take some spinach and salad leave; they love it! Thanks for the info. I have not been looking at the small pond lately, but there used to be a solitary heron(?)on the little island in the middle of this other pond, always on it's own, under the small tree there..aaaahhh, I do hope it finds a mate!
