nunheadmum
It's that time of year again and I'm not feeling at all inspired. My daughter still wants a proper party - no palming off with an outing for a few friends just yet. I'm trying to find something that won't exhaust me in the preparation. She keeps talking about Gambados but I'm not sure why as we've done it before and while it was easy for me, she's not usually such a big Gambados fan. We had a nice party at home last year but not feeling so inspired on that front this year - think I used up all my ideas last year.I wondered about an entertainer but all of those I've seen so far look quite full on and my daughter is a bit on the shy side - would need to be someone who could get her onside. More girly / fairy / dancing than rumbustious mad magician.Anyone got any good ideas? JDR
I can recommend All Fired Up. Not cheap but they no longer do food and if you avoid meal times and provide afternoon snacks, pretty good valueMy 7 yo did it last year, 6 yo last weekend. They love it Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/29125-7-year-old-girl-party-ideas/#findComment-616363 Share on other sites
bjm
Recommend Science Boffins- google them. They do really exciting/funny experiments- explosions- magnets- balloons- fireworks etcMy daughter had them for her party and it kept 14 6 years olds enthralled for an hour!
