Help with water leaking in cellar

Can anyone recommend a drainage expert who might be able to help with a possible leak under our cellar floor, I have seen good reviews for Dave the Drain but have not been able to get hold of him so any other suggestions would be helpful.

You think it's a leaking pipe, rather than just ground water penetrating into the cellar?

I reckon that unless you've actually had your basement converted (including floating floor and pump/sump) then occasional water ingress is pretty much the norm.

Sorry, did you have a recommendation of someone who can come and have a look or just wanted to give your expert opinion?

Well I've been there... water coming into cellar floor. And tried calling various trades (including my buildings insurer) who all just basically said it's normal and not actually a problem.

Sorry if you don't find my input useful. But you sound fairly unpleasant so I won't lose any sleep over it.

Yes, what fishbiscuits said, there's a lot of wet cellars round these parts... if you have ?thousands spare you can get it properly tanked, but ignore me as I can't recommend anyone.

No help to you really, rapunzel, but we get water in the cellar after really heavy rain. I think it happens a lot round here.
