Since Brexit

does anyone notice, or is it me, the lack of decent grape in Sainsburys.

there used to be the bog standard red/black green and organic, and at least 2 or 3 named varieties

a little more expensive, but worth the extra,

They still have the bog standard, I have been using Sainsburys at Beckenham, not Bell Green since Covid

but the baskets are empty, hardly any variety of any fruit at all.

Also does anyone one know where you can get Kent nap cherries

Indian grapes in April may - and they weren't nice

Now it's Egyptian ones that aren't much better.

I like the European and South African ones - still hoping they come into season.

Sainsburys used to do Cotton candy, they were nice

muscatel again nice

and sable not bad, Lidl also would get sable

but Sable aren't in Lidls or sainsburys

been going to Lidl to look for them

I wondered if it was a freight issue

or brexit,

Same with Strawberry's, now just one variety
