Babysitting/nanny services - for both infants and children

Recommended Posts

Hi, my name is Siamara! I am a 24y/o postgraduate student at King's College London, and work within NHS children's mental health services. Looking for babysitting or nannying work to do part-time along studies.

My degree is in Developmental (child) psychology, I have experience teaching in schools, being a private tutor, caring for children independently, nappy changing and preparing bottles, being a full-time nanny, and supporting children with special needs. Have enhanced DBS checks, references, and am trained in Basic Life Support. I have worked with children of all ages; from infancy to 18 years old (within formal care).

I am confident cooking healthy meals, assisting with housework, helping with music practice (did cello to grade 7), and helping with homework. Please pm me if any of you are interested and would like more information- I look forward to meeting your family!

Hi Siamara

We are looking for someone to help with mornings (7-9)and school pick up (330-6) 5 days a week. We have some flexibility in terms of start date (sept onwards) and the evenings are more important than the mornings. Our current nanny finishes in August to do child yoga. We live in Dulwich village fairly central. Let me know if you want to chat, I appreciate you may have other opportunities.

Thanks

Paul

    • Hello, I have a sofa bed and cuddle chair that I'm looking to get rid of. I live in Forest Hill. Originally bought from DFS, grey colour, used condition. I was either going to post an ad on this forum or on gumtree. Let me know asap. You'd need two people to collect as I won't be able to help carry them down the stairs. Thanks
    • Sorry for the delay Sue, I've been meaning to reply to this. As I said previously to other posts, you don't have to pay for my Substack. And you can donate to blogs i think if you want, so there is a similarity to the models (as well as differences, which I expect people here will now point out).
    • Oh I doubt it, it's a pretty big question 🤣
    • I've moved GPs twice because I wasn't happy. It took about half an hour max each time. I'm very happy with where I am now (The Gardens). Depends whether you'd rather have the slight inconvenience of identifying another suitable GP  (eg by looking at reviews, ratings  etc) and then going there to register, or prefer the stress of staying where you aren't happy, in a surgery which doesn't seem to be improving, and prefer to complain on here! Yes things should be different. Yes you can try to get them changed. If they don't change, maybe it's time to put your physical (and possibly mental) health first?
