Hi

Has anyone got any recommendations for a mobile mechanic that could replace brake callipers and brake pads on a BMW X5 in West Dulwich. I have searched the forum but all the old recommendations seem to have disappeared. Would be very grateful.

Have had good experiences with Autocar Repairs on Rosendale Road, but don't think they are mobile. You could call and see?

If the car is driveable I would suggest booking it in and taking it to a garage - Dulwich Test (020 8693 1442) off Tyrrel Road (moved from Hindemans Road) have looked after my cars for over 30 years very successfully. Even if technically e.g. an MOT failure you are allowed to drive to a garage for repairs.

Even if not driveable - you can book a recovery truck to take it to your chosen garage.

I've tried a couple of local mobile mechanics in the past, but they couldn't fix the problem properly and I probably wouldn't bother again.
