NOW UNAVAILABLE. Am looking to rent out my fully furnished 5 bed house just for 2 weeks from 1st August - just off Bellenden Road - could be available a few days earlier if of interest. Family home, in residential area. 4 double bedrooms and a bunk bed room. Large open plan kitchen/diner onto small garden.

Would be a fully equipped "home" - i.e. kitchen, lounge, lots of toys, tv, small pool table, bedding, towels etc etc - so would be good for a local family who just need another home for a couple of weeks e.g. if having housing work done or have a visiting family - definitely not a student or party house.

  Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.

  Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
