SandraTurner
Hi everyone, I am looking to buy a cake mixer and I was wondering if anyone could recommend one, as I am struggling to find any decent reviews. Many thanks in advance Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/28727-cake-mixers-recommendations-please/ Share on other sites

womanofdulwich
Depends on your budget. Kenwood multi pro is ok. Kenwood chef ( the full monty )is good for bigger quantities. SarahG
We've just got this one- http://www.nisbets.co.uk/Kenwood-Major-Pro-Planetary-Mixer/CE379/ProductDetail.raction so far so good! Compared to the (far more beautiful) kitchen aids and k-mix machines it has a stronger motor, larger bowl and was cheaper... We really like it so far! I make quite a lot of very large cakes (wedding cakes etc) and was finding mixing mixing by hand took far too long and too taxing, so it's a massive relief! We got ours from Nisbets too, great price!! Ukjoncollins
Checkout Grundig Mixer if you haven't got ?500 for a kitchen aid. Its of course got its issues but I find it perfect for everything I need it for and its compatible with Kitchen aid accessories (like mincers, sausage makers, pasta...). http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_0_6?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=grundig+mixer&sprefix=grundi%2Caps%2C203 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/28727-cake-mixers-recommendations-please/#findComment-613549 Share on other sites
